After watching Jade Goody's interview after being evicted form Big Brother, I gathered that the context of the interview was trying to get Jade Goody to explain her side of the story, but overall trying to get Goody to admit she's racist and what she did was wrong. The interview was mainly informative, but as it was on a television show, Big Brother, it also came across as entraining too. The purpose of the interview was to inform to not only receive information from Goody, but to actually inform her on the affects of her actions. Along with this it was to also get admittance from her too, like I mentioned before.
The types of questioned that Davina, the interviewer, used were mainly open ending questions as well as leading questions. This meant that it made Jade Goody have to expand on her answers and also be drove to answer in a specific manner. Davina's tone was quite blunt, but still somewhat formal as she wasn't meant to be seen as biased; she had to get the information she needed but in a manner that didn't come across as too harsh or rude.
Additionally, there was a clear structure seen in the interview, introduction middle and end. The introduction included showing the interviewee information (videos) so that she would understand the interview that was about to take place. More over, it started the interview on a calmer (still blunt and serious) tone, which was then built up through Davina's multiple questions that got more difficult as time went on - she didn't really build a rapport, she just got to the point but made her questions more direct and harder each time.
